She qualified as a doctor after two years of medical school in Leeds (where she was awarded the Birkett Prize at the end of her second year), followed by the remainder of her training at St George's Hospital Medical School, London. She is now working at a practice in South East England and has passed additional exams to obtain further professional qualifications.
